In only 7 years the franco-lebanese band TELEFERIK has already played on various stages all around Europe, USA, Middle East and Asia (Zandari Festival in Korea, RayBan® The Other Side in Dubai, …). “Explosive and Poetic” “Lyric but powerful voice in three languages” “A rock inﬂuence”. Critics have been raving about their unusual music style and the band’s music is described as a fusion of Western and Arabic inﬂuences.
With their ﬁrst album:“Lune Electric” (independent record launched in 2015) TELEFERIK is nominated for French OUI FM Rock Awards 2016 and is part of the year compilation album. Singles like “Bombs and Rockets” and “Mara” get quickly the attention of the Arab world and the band is interviewed by local TV channels and radios, but also gets selected by Eyewear brand Ray-Ban® for an event in Dubai. The single “Bombs and Rockets” is selected by the Korean fashion brand 디아프바인 DIAFVINE to be played in one TV commercial. Their album is distributed digitally in France by label Modulor, in the USA by label Knick Knack Records and in Korea by label Chili Music Korea,
In 2018 TELEFERIK just launched its second album called “Blood Orange Sirup” (a syrup mixture of West and East ﬂavors). Mastered in Los Angeles, Directed and mixed by Azzedine Djelil ("Catherine Ringer", “Minuit”), with the contribution of Dabkeh music keyboardists: Kenzi Bourras (Acid Arab, Rachid Taha) and Rizan Said (Syria), also known for playing with “Omar Souleyman” (Mad Decent). Between Arno, guitar player and Eliz, bass player and lead singer, TELEFERIK brings a captivating rich mélange of musical styles in three languages (Arabic, English and French).
